It Takes Two Theme Top Honors & Features | Chosen by Facebook Guest Judge Chris Meritt Photography

Although it has been a crazy month for me and this week has been crazy busy, it has been an honor to be a guest judge! I love looking at my fellow photographer’s photos and their interpretations of the theme “it takes two.” I have gone over and over everyone’s shots and it is so very hard to choose. But it is my job this week, so without further ado here are my five faves (in no particular order) and top honor. Thank you to everyone who participated.

The dreamy fall colors in this photo by Sarah Rose Photography caught my eye immediately.

Oh and how did you know I am such a sucker for a beautiful black & white. My dream is to someday dedicate a whole wall of my house to b&w photos of my littles. Black and whites always seem to show so much emotion and without the distraction of color it is that emotion that draws me in. Simply stunning Photos by Eve Rashid

The light, the leading lines of the trees, the simplicity of the capture. Love everything about this Holly Nicole Photography

I just have to say I am a big fan of Markie’s. One day we will meet up over here on our West Coast and drink wine and shoot silly photos together. Her girls are little dolls and she rocks that single mom status. This soft photo with the tree, the lights and that angel shadow on the wall makes me smile Markie Wheeler-Jones.

Oh the fun of this photo by Brandie Ann Photography! I adore it. And again the giant circle that frames the girls is just perfect.

Now my absolute top honor goes to… drum roll please… Dana Macleod. This capture simply took my breath away. The light of the refrigerator, the innocence of childhood. The dog! Everything about this photo. This is something I would frame and have hanging in my own kitchen even if it isn’t my child. Dana, you have a new fan! Thank you again everyone!
