How often do you get out of your comfort zone? Push your limits? Try new things? It can be a scary thing. A few months ago I took a local workshop on wedding photography hosted by the lovely and talented Jeremy Scott. I am in love with his photography, and while I have no desire to photograph weddings, I knew I could learn a lot about dealing with tough lighting situations, photographing details and adding in light with off camera lighting.
The workshop was held at the lovely Rialto Theater in downtown Tampa. With a gorgeous large space and beautiful architecture, I couldn’t ask for more.
The workshop was able to run the course of a wedding from getting ready to thoughts about the bridal portraits.
These are not some of my strongest images, but they are mine and I am happy that I pushed my limits to create new art. Growth is important for everyone. Don’t ever stop growing in your art!
