Why do you love to utilize your phone to capture these images?

I get easily distracted by pretty light! I love how easy and effortless it is to take a photo with my phone throughout the day.

Has your Phone help spark more creativity onto other type of work?
More often than not, if I set up something to shoot with the phone – I love the look so much that I will go and grab my DSLR! Shooting with the phone has actually made me more aware of different perspectives and composing the shot.

Where does your inspiration come from?

Light, shapes and color!

Can you share some tips to achieving your style of art?
-Use the rule of thirds to compose your shot. I love incorporating negative space. But also include a subject within the frame for your viewer to focus on.
-Add depth to the scene by placing objects in the foreground. Tap the screen to focus on your subject, allowing the foreground element to be slightly out of focus.
-Incorporate shadows! Use them as leading lines, shapes, or to hide distractions and clutter.
Favorite communities on Instagram so that we can also follow?
I’ve been participating in the #cmglimpse project with Clickin Moms since day one. There are some incredibly talented ladies who also shoot daily for the creative push, we are like a big family!
Favorite editing apps and why?
VSCO, love the filters and so easy to use and tweak the look to your vision.
Just started playing around with Color Story – lots of bold colorful filters to play with.
