This is client work.

What about this session was most memorable?

The moment they stepped out of the car, it was instant connection. This was my first time photographing them, but it was like I had known them for many years.

Were there any hurdles?

To be honest, and really honest. No! Not a single hurdle!!

What is your best photographer/session advice?

Connect with your clients. Talk with them. Make them feel as comfortable as you possibly can! If they are comfortable, it’ll show!

What gear was used to achieve these?

I used my Nikon body and my 35mm lens (always).

My name is Desra, and  I am the owner of Desra Ramey Photography. My style above all else is to capture like, in the moment, documenting clients so that years from now they will still appreciate the images that I’ve given them.

I have 4 children, all girls under the age of 11. I’m married to the most amazing man of almost 11 years, and we live in a small town in TN. I’m big on documenting my girls, walking, playing outside with them, and most importantly my faith. God has given me eyes to photograph. I’ll not let him down!
