BE INSPIRED Session | feature by Sarah Jordan

What about this session was most memorable?
I would say the most memorable part of this session was the natural beauty I was allowed to capture and witness as momma quietly breastfed her first babe during most the session!

Were there any hurdles?
To be honest, most the time when you go into a new mom’s home you will almost always have to declutter the area’s you will be shooting in. I don’t truly expect moms to be worried about that. So after a quick spruce up, it was game time.
Your best photographer/session advice?
My best Advice as a photographer during a session is “Don’t over think it” it’s always nice to look on IG or Pinterest for inspiration before a session. However, I think for me it works to just let all that go and try to live in the moment and find inspiration during the session and let it flow organically as possible.
What gear was used to achieve these?

For this session, I used a Canon 5D Mk III and my lens of choice was my Sigma 50 1.4 Art series lens.

I’m a 35-year-old Mom of 6 kids ranging from 16 years to 15 months as well as wife to an amazing husband. We live in a little town called Loganville, Ga.  I’ve been doing photography for 8 years now. I’d say in the last few years I have really found my happy place. I have never been more in love with what I do. I can’t believe this is my job!
