Tell us a bit about your approach to the work you do, your time in the business and a few personal facts about you.
I like to call myself a Love & Lifestyle photographer because I am constantly drawn to capturing those two things! Whether it’s with a client or friends & family, seeing the beauty in everyday moments and catching that ‘moment’ is what it’s all about.
What about this session was most memorable?
The inspiration for this session began when I saw Meaghan for the first time…
She was at a family dance at our local middle school and I totally fell in love with her style… so much so, that I had to introduce myself. I told her that I loved her look and that I would absolutely love to photograph her (maybe in a field with flowers in her hair) and as they say… the rest is history!!!
Were there any hurdles?
The only hurdle we ran into was making sure the weather was just perfect, so we had to reschedule a few times… but finally, a perfect day came along. Meaghan & her daughter arrived at our location and she pulled out these amazing flower crowns that she had made herself… needless to say, I was pretty excited and I hope that you love the results as much as we did…
What gear was used to achieve these?
At the time I did this session, I was shooting with a Canon 5D Mark II and my 50mm 1.8.
