Tell us a bit about your approach to the work you do, your time in the business and a few personal facts about you.

My approach to my photography is always creating an authentic interaction with my clients. One that is not forced but genuine. I have been in photography as a business for 2 years now. Although, I started while in high school with a film camera and a dark room some 10 years ago. I am a mom of two little ones aged 5 and 4. When I’m not doing photography or being a mom I’m either singing or playing the drums.

What about this session was most memorable?

I would say one thing that was most memorable about this session, in particular, was the interactions between this couple. It was so authentic, their love for each other exuded in every frame that was taken.

Were there any hurdles?

One of the biggest hurdles was the time of day and how harsh the lighting was. It was a beautiful day but the sun was very high at this time. It presented with a challenge but we most certainly made it work.

What is your best photographer/session advice?

The best advice I could give because it was given to me and has changed my life since would be to not think so much. The moment you treat your client as you would your own family, children, etc., the results you will produce will be mind-blowing.

What gear was used to achieve these?

Canon, 5d Mark II and Sigma Art 35mm lens
