~Capturing connections of everyday life~ I am fine art portrait and wedding photographer based just south of Seattle, WA. I was born in Northern California and migrated north via the Fine Art program at the University of Oregon. It was there that I met my husband, Stephen. We knew we wanted a family but we decided to take our sweet time and enjoy our 20 as dog parents. We lived in a series of houses with dark rooms and band rooms in the basements in Seattle before settling in South King County where we started our family with twins Tanner and Ruby. Despite a 10 year foray into music with my band ‘tart’, I always remained connected to photography as a hobby. The hobby turned to career in 2012 when the twins turned 2 and I finally had a free hand to hold a camera. These days I spend my non twin-rearing hours on my growing photography business. Focusing on capturing connections, making unique images and breaking the rules of photography along the way. Steve and I and the twins plan to live on a farm very soon! We will always have a darkroom and a band room in our basement.
